Joining us this evening, is Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky, Executive Director of the Chabad Jewish Center in Glastonbury, CT.
Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky was born in Milwaukee, WI, where his parents were active in Jewish education. When they moved to Brooklyn, NY, the Wolvovsky family lived close to the Lubavitcher Rebbe and Chabad World Headquarters. Rabbi Wolvovsky's formative years (and many fond moments) are from this time with the Rebbe.
Rabbi Wolvovsky and his wife Yehudis, along with their family, reside in Glastonbury, CT. Together, they direct the Chabad Jewish Center where they share the joys of Judaism. "Our passion is making Jewish wisdom relevant to peoples' lives," he says.
He is most famously known for being Mushka's dad ;)
Yud Shevat is a special day on the Chabad Calendar, marking the day The Lubavitcher Rebbe took upon the leadership of the Chabad movement. The Lubavitcher Rebbe then sent thousands of emissaries accross the globe to open Chabad Centers inspiring millions to connect with their Jewish identity!
